There is rock folks, and there is waterfolks. At TRU they have mandatory courses, one of them is the infamous "Kayak 1"
Since the water is colder early in the day, we spent the first half of the day time inside. Here getting a brief intro to pro-con's of different boats. (yes, there is class stuff)
At Clearwater a big portion of the time is spent trying to convert people to fall in behind the great wave and submerge loyalty to the eddie line.
Since I'm without waterproof housing i didn’t really bring my camera on the river, so everything is taken from on land. Where we slept, ate and hung out.
I really believed I would like river kayaking better, but it's not like real kayaking. Its like go-cart Vs a actual car, and I think I failed to figure the goal. It was fun, but it seems like most of the actual fun happened on land. Maybe if we spent more time actually running rapids, or the same rapid several times, it would make more sense? Who knows.
