Some time back I was lowering some kayaks of a tree with a HMS hitch around the trunk of the tree. This was in the mean time done with a throwing line, that keeping that lean sexy diameter of a well stretched 6-7mm thin rope. Hill was steep, kayak was heavy. And there was a bit of a drop of making it thug the rope, before came tight. Holding this rope and giving those plastic coffins a safe journey down was pretty damn hard. Not knowing what I know now then, i have the solution to a low diameter rope lower: The dubble HMS!
