SQUAMISH
In Kamloops, there's so much going on these first weeks, so it's a bit hard to decide exactly what to post. I figured I should start with the epic stuff and leave all the water shit out.
This is in relation to what is called "Rock 2" which aims to make us better recreational climbers, with a solid intro to rope systems and rescue pulleys. Throughout the course we lived at "Wonderland" camping in Squamish, and started every day with Starbucks and just being mellow. After all, we never got up before 05.00
As teachers in the course we had Kinley (Squamish based full rock guide) And Iain (full Mountain guide with PHD). So no doubt we were set for success. Kinley is a good counterpart for the slightly elder Iain, and also a very pleasant person to learn from. If I were to hire a guide in Squam again I know where I would go!
